Privacy
What we collect, who sees it, how to ask for it back.
Short version: we keep what you send us, we don't sell it, and we'll delete it on request. Long version follows.
Who we are
NeuroEquity is a grant program run by Luke Steuber. For data-protection purposes, Luke is the data controller. Reach him at luke@lukesteuber.com.
What we collect
Three forms on the site, each one collecting the same three things: your name, your email, and a freeform message. The application form asks about your project, the jury form asks about your expertise, and the fund form asks how you'd like to help.
We don't ask you to disclose a diagnosis. People sometimes mention disability or neurodivergence in their message anyway. We treat anything written there as sensitive and keep it accordingly. If you'd rather not write it down, you don't have to.
We also run a self-hosted page-view counter at stats.dr.eamer.dev. It counts visits. It does not set cookies, fingerprint your browser, or store your IP address.
Who we share it with
- Form processor
- The three forms submit through a third-party form-to-email service. Your message passes through their servers on the way to luke@lukesteuber.com. We'll name the processor in this page once the program is live.
- Analytics
- Aggregate page-view counts only. No personal data, no cookies.
- Jury
- When we route an application to a jury reader, we share what you wrote in the application form. We don't share your contact details unless we need to.
- Nobody else
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. There are no ad pixels on this site.
How long we keep it
Applications and jury messages: kept for two years from the date we last corresponded with you, then deleted. Funded applications are kept as part of the grant record, with your name and project description; we'll ask before publishing anything about you.
Fund-interest messages: kept until the donation page is live, plus one follow-up to let you know. After that, deleted unless you ask to stay on the list.
Page-view counts: kept in aggregate, no per-visitor records.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have, to correct it, or to delete it. Send an email to luke@lukesteuber.com with a short note. We'll reply within thirty days, faster if we can.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. The analytics counter sets none either. If you submit a form with JavaScript disabled, the form processor may set its own cookies on its confirmation page; we redirect you back here, but we can't speak for what happens on their servers.
Changes
When this page changes substantively, we'll update the date below and write a one-line note in the footer of the main page for at least a month.
